We Stand Together

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” ~ Colossians 3: 13-14
Our hearts are heavy.

So much pain, so much suffering, and unrest. So much hatred. And all this on top of illness and more death during this once-in-a-lifetime pandemic.
Lord, we need you.

We find our current crises particularly heart wrenching, as our mission focuses on building community.  Our program is all about finding reconciliation with one another through our faith in Christ. On bringing people of different backgrounds and cultures together and building bonds. We seek unity in everything we do.
Lord, we need you to bring us back together in peace.  In unity.  In love.

God shows us glimmers of hope amidst the pain.  Black and white brothers and sisters coming together in peaceful protests.  Policemen and women taking a knee and showing solidarity as victims’ names are called out by hurting communities.  Glimpses of peace amidst the violence.
Lord, how do we move forward?

We share the love of Christ.  In everything we do.  With every person, we meet.  We go the extra mile, reaching out to our brothers and sisters of different races and tell them we care.  We approach with caution, compassion, and respect.  We love on one another, and we pray.
Join us in praying for peace.
Peace to you and yours ❤️

“Mercifully, it will take only a critical mass of people who believe in finding love and connection across difference to change everything.” ~ Brene Brown
