These ornaments are handmade by artisans overcoming poverty and violence in Port au Prince, Haiti. Our artisan group leader, Shelove, empowers these women and men by teaching them the skill of working with recycled steel drum metal, providing them with purposeful employment and allowing them to provide for their families.
